We had Secret Service week to kick off the event; each class secretly
served a different class. We started the week by handing out secret service classes and the atmosphere around the school
has been awesome. It was a wonderful week and really great to see the kids serve each other and the excitement that
it brought to them to be able to serve.
Service Projects are underway: the 2nd graders have been making ink-pen flower pots for our area healthcare
providers, the 3rd graders pulled weeds and did landscaping at Parkside Community Church, the 7th and 8th graders stained
the shade structure and Calvary Chapel, the 5th and 6th graders power-washed the bathrooms at Butler Park to help prepare
for Little League Opening Day: the 4th graders cooked, cleaned, served, etc. at Bread of Life. The event will be wrapped up in a special dinner and recognition time on Spring Fling night April 28th.
